Key roles and responsibilites:

1. Determine areas of research to increase knowledge in a particular field.

2. Undertake thorough and comprehensive literature reviews

3. Carry out original, high-level individual and collaborative research

4. ِAnalyse, present and interpret data in order to draw meaningful and possibly novel inferences and conclusions.

5. Use research results to write reports, papers and reviews and present findings in journals and conferences.

6. prepare and write high quality papers for submission to peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings

7. work to deadlines as required by fund or grant holder

8. prepare presentations at national and international conferences to large audiences
